Who's behind this
Capacify is operated by SA Software LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use the app.
What Capacify is
Capacify is a personal task and energy-budgeting app. It is not medical advice, psychological treatment, productivity coaching, or a substitute for professional care. It will not save your life and it will not finish your laundry. It might help you do it.
Your account
On first launch we create an anonymous account for you, tied to your device. You can optionally link an email later. That lets you recover your data on a new device, but no email is ever required. You're responsible for whatever happens through your account. If your phone is lost or stolen, contact us and we'll help.
Subscriptions and billing
- Plans. Capacify is free to try. Paid plans are $6.99/month or $49.99/year (pricing may change with notice).
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Apple or the applicable payment provider handles billing depending on where you subscribed.
- Cancellation. You cancel through the platform that sold you the subscription (Apple Settings or the relevant billing portal, accessible from Calibrate → Manage Subscription). We can't cancel a subscription for you because we're not the merchant.
- Refunds. Handled by the marketplace or payment provider per their refund policies. We don't process refunds directly.
- Free trial. Where offered, the trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends.
Acceptable use
Don't do any of this:
- Reverse-engineer the app or its servers
- Resell access to other people
- Use it to harm yourself or others
- Try to inject prompts that bypass safety constraints on the AI personalities
- Spam the API to drive up our costs
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We'll try to tell you first if it's safe to do so.
Your content
The tasks you write are yours. We don't claim ownership. By using the AI reframe feature, you grant us permission to send the task text to Google Gemini for transformation (see Privacy Policy). We don't train our own models on your data and we don't sell it.
Our content
The app, its design, the personality prompts, branding, and documentation are owned by SA Software LLC. Don't copy them or build a knockoff. (Inspiration is fine, please credit us.)
Disclaimer
Capacify is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, free of bugs, perfectly accurate, or aligned with your specific needs. The AI reframes are generated text, so sometimes they're going to be weird or unhelpful. Use your judgment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SA Software LLC isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of Capacify. Our total liability to you for direct damages is capped at the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months.
Changes
We can update these terms. Material changes get surfaced in-app before they take effect. If you keep using the app after a change, you're accepting the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where SA Software LLC is registered. Disputes go to that jurisdiction first.
