Delete your account

We make this easy on purpose. Two paths: open the app and tap a button, or send us an email. Both delete the same data, both are permanent.

Option 1: From inside the app (fastest)

Open Capacify on your device → Calibrate tab → Delete account button at the bottom of the screen → confirm in the dialog. Your account and all data are removed immediately.

Option 2: By email (if you don't have the app anymore)

Send an email to support@capacify.app with the subject line "Delete my Capacify account."

Include either:

The email address linked to your account (if you ever linked one), or
Your device user ID, visible in the app at Calibrate → bottom identity chip (the long UUID under "Device-only").

We'll process the deletion within 7 days and email you a confirmation once it's done.

What gets deleted

Your Supabase auth user record
All your tasks (live and soft-deleted)
Your task event log (completions, reframes, etc.)
Your daily energy budget history
Your custom personalities
Your entitlement record (subscription state on our side)
Your RevenueCat customer record
Any linked email address

What deletion does NOT do

Deleting your account here does not cancel an active subscription charged through the marketplace or payment provider that processed your purchase. We're not the merchant of record. Cancel separately:

iOS: iPhone Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Capacify → Cancel
Web: Use the customer portal link in your most recent billing email

If you delete the Capacify account first and forget to cancel, you'll keep being billed, but the charge can't grant you access (no account to attach it to). Cancel the subscription separately to stop the charges.

This is irreversible. We do not keep backups for the purpose of account recovery. Once deleted, your data is gone. There's no "restore" button on the other side.
